Molly Shehan

Molly concentrates her practice in the areas of entertainment and intellectual property law.

Molly is a graduate of Belmont College of Law and received her BBA in Music Business from Belmont University. Her experience includes interning for the Nashville Music Council for two years, interning for Congressman Jim Cooper in Washington D.C., interning at Loeb & Loeb, LLP, and working as a research assistant for Dr. Don Cusic at Belmont University.

Molly was the 2009 Copyright Society of the South scholarship recipient and received the John Williams Heart of Belmont Award for her community involvement while at Belmont.  Molly serves as the 2017/2018 Chair of the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association and is a voting member of the Country Music Association (CMA) and the Academy of Country Music (ACM).  Molly is a member of the Recording Academy and part of the 2018 Grammy Next Class. She has been a panelist at the Music Biz Conference, the TBA’s annual Entertainment and Sports Forum and Leadership Music’s closing retreat.
